AMERICA'S GAME

For three hours on a Saturday in December, they fight each other with everything they have. But when the final whistle blows, they stand shoulder-to-shoulder—the only rivalry in the world where every player on the field has already sworn to lay down their life for the men on the opposing sideline.

Saturday, December 12, 2026 · 3:00 p.m. ET · MetLife Stadium

Where to stay

Hilton Meadowlands

Two miles from MetLife. Easy for families coming in for Saturday.

Marriott Meadowlands

East Rutherford base with parking and shuttle options on big event weekends.

Manhattan overflow

Stay in Midtown and ride over. Good if you want dinner in the city Friday night.

Where to eat

East Rutherford classic — unfussy, local, and close to the stadium.

Chakra

Paramus destination for a nicer Friday dinner before kickoff.

Keens Steakhouse

Manhattan, pipes on the ceiling, and the kind of room that fits the weekend.

Saturday
A simple clock for families coming in for the 127th meeting.

Friday night

Check in. Eat in the Meadowlands or ride into Midtown. Sleep close if you can.

Morning

Gates and the lot take time. Leave a margin for the march-on, not just kickoff.

Noon hour

The Corps and the Brigade take the field before the teams. Be in your seat early.

3:00 p.m. ET

Kickoff. Three hours later, one side waits so the other can sing.

Getting there
MetLife sits in East Rutherford. Rail is easier than sitting in the lot.

NJ Transit to Meadowlands

Rail from Secaucus to Meadowlands Station on event days. Check the Saturday schedule.

MetLife parking and transit

Lots fill. Official stadium pages post lot maps and rail notes as the date gets close.

From Manhattan

Bus or rail to the Meadowlands. Plan the return after the alma maters, not the clock.

QUESTIONS FAMILIES ASK

Until they sing
The score will be forgotten by most people in the stands. The wait after the whistle will not. Come back in December. Stand with them, in the stadium or from wherever you serve.
